My purpose in this life is to break trauma cycles, heal, and help others heal as well. I come from a line of Brazilian women with ancestral intuitive gifts for healing. Both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees are in psychology, although not the licensed clinical kind (the studying/understanding human behavior and emotion kind). I obtained a specialization in leadership coaching as a part of my master’s degree so I do have specialized training to provide life/leadership coaching backed by science/evidence-based practices and methodologies. I am also an ordained minister, a Reiki practitioner, an ancestral/generational trauma cycle breaker and guide, a grief tender, and a rapé ceremonialist. On a personal level I am proudly “neurospicy” and like to focus on taking the shame out of thinking and processing information a little differently than most.
As someone who has personally experienced profound grief/loss as a result of the injustice of oppressive systems and institutions, as well as personal experience with religious and emotional abuse and neglect, I understand the complexities of navigating and healing from complex grief, injustice, and abuse. I am passionate about grief tending, especially in community circles. In ancient times, we grieved together, not alone.
I am also passionate about helping teens, young adults (and even older adults) to figure out their life purpose and learn how to trust their intuition. As someone who has spent many years teaching, I love to teach skills and inspire others to be the best versions of themselves they can be. I also love doing 1:1 coaching where we can explore career options and make life goals, develop leadership skills, and build confidence. I spent time working in HR using my psychology expertise and intuitive gifts to help organizations identify the right talent to build successful teams, so I can even help craft resumés and prep for interviews. In addition to regular forms of payment, I also accept ESA funds as a payment option for homeschooled teens wanting some guidance as they prepare for next steps after high school or just want some confidence-building and leadership skill development.
